BOMBAZO IN THE BRONX!
Join us Sunday June 6th, 2021!!! Performances, dance class and open Bombazo! This year we are joined by Movimiento Cultural, lead by Kevin Diaz, who maintains ongoing Puerto Rican traditions in Connecticut! We are honored to have joining in our presentation Maestro Miguel Quijano as we bring back to el batey de Bomba Puerto Ricos Stickfighthing: Cocobale, as a cultural practice.
This event is open to all. Bring your barril, maraca, skirt, voice and let's honor our ancestors and heal in community. $10.00 fee goes to help assist our free programs through out the year and cultural activism in the Bronx & Puerto Rico.

Bombazo Dance Co. is a non-profit dance company, who's mission is to conserve and advocate for Afro Puerto Rican Bomba drum and dance and its connection to the African Diaspora in both its traditional form and fusing with contemporary and social styles of dance.
